Thesis: Topic: virus-/tumor-specific T cell responses
We are looking for Master's students for a Master's thesis each or a research internship that will lead to a Master's thesis beginning from February to April in the Busch group at the Institute for Medical Microbiology, Immunology and Hygiene. Research will focus on the identification and characterisation of virus- or tumour-specific T cell responses.
Our projects comprise a variety of methods including peptide stimulation assays, cytokine readouts, flow cytometry (analysis and sort), fluorospot, CRISPR/Cas9 editing etc.
Requirements:
- Interest in immunological questions about virus infection or tumour disease
- Basic experience with cell culture work
- Experience with flow cytometry desired
- Precise and independent way of working
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- The right team spirit and close collaboration in the lab
